One-family house on a sizable 700-square-meter-plot, in good keeping of the street front’s urban scale.
The clean-cut shape designed by our colleague, arch. Milena Oprescu, agreed with the client and remained virtually unchanged until the construction was completed. The position of the house allows for southwesterly sunshine to enter all rooms and keep a major part of the courtyard well sunlit ensuring continuous use all year through.
Simple, light grey-white plaster and pinewood batten clad the masonry, anthracite metal sheet covers roof and window frames. Stone pavements, galvanized steel grating and larch terraces favor passing between points of interest – grass is for leisure.
An excellent construction job based on great collaboration makes for one of our best experiences with residential architecture.
